The Paso Robles region, where Firestone Walker's brewery is located, is also known as a California wine producing area. For this beer, they used Graciano grapes harvested from "Area 51 Vineyard" located very close to the brewery.

The grapes underwent carbonic maceration by being immersed in carbon dioxide, then pressed. The juice was then blended with wild ale and aged for 7 months in French oak barrels.

The carbonation and mouthfeel are soft, with a subtle hint of tannin. It offers fruity and floral aromas with accents of oak, vanilla, and cinnamon spice.
