The 2023 vintage of Sucaba is brewed differently every time. Aged for a year in bourbon barrels from Blanton's and Weller, a popular American bourbon, it has flavors of oak, dark chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, coconut, and subtle black cherry.

This is the commemorative 10th batch of the vintage Sucaba series, which changes its brewing method each time.

Unlike imperial stouts, which have a strong flavor of the base beer, barley wines like Sucaba allow the delicate flavors of the barrel to be more apparent.
