Sierra Nevada Hop Bullet (355ml)

Limited-edition Double IPA made with lupulin dust, offering an intense experience of citrus and pine flavors.

"Hop Bullet" is a limited-edition spring Double IPA that employs a new technique: direct addition of large quantities of Magnum hops and lupulin dust (Note 1) into the fermenter.

This method successfully enhances the citrus and pine hop flavors characteristic of typical West Coast-style IPAs.

The name "Hop Bullet" is presumed to be derived from Magnum, one of the hops used.

It pours a golden color with a white head.

The aroma features pine, citrus, tropical fruit, and dank (Note 2) notes.

The flavor follows suit, resulting in a refreshing drinkability that belies its Double IPA style.

Note 1) Lupulin refers to the yellow particles found within hops, which contain substances that impart bitterness and aroma to beer. This term refers to the concentrated, powdered form of these lupulin components. With a concentration ratio of approximately 2x, it is gaining attention for its ability to extract flavor without imparting excessive bitterness or astringency. Note 2) "Dank" is a term frequently used to describe the aroma and flavor of American craft beers, referring to a distinctive aroma reminiscent of marijuana.
