Karl Strauss When Worlds Collide (473ml)

A collaboration with fellow San Diego kombucha brewer Boochcraft, this drink uses grapefruit, hibiscus, black tea, and ginger for a vibrant, spicy, lemony flavor.

Kombucha has become extremely popular on the West Coast of the United States, and it is no exaggeration to say that Boochcraft is one of the companies behind this rise.

Their unique approach is to first brew a black tea-based kombucha, and then use only organic fruit juice that is squeezed just before adding it to the tank.

And by packaging it completely unfiltered, you can capture all of the goodness of fermentation.

This time, we had the opportunity to think about a collaborative beer with Boochcraft, and we brewed an IPA that has the flavor of tea and sweet lemon, reminiscent of an Arnold Palmer (a soft drink made by mixing lemonade with iced tea).

It should have a mild bitterness and a refreshing, citrus-like acidity.

Secondary ingredients include grapefruit peel and puree, dried hibiscus, black tea, and ginger.
