Collaboration with Boochcraft, a fellow San Diego kombucha brewery. Lively, spicy, and lemon-fresh with grapefruit, hibiscus, black tea, and ginger.

Kombucha became popular on the US West Coast, and Boochcraft is arguably one of the key players in its rise.

Their process involves first brewing black tea-based kombucha, then adding only organic fruit juice, freshly squeezed just before it goes into the tank.

By packaging it completely unfiltered, you can get all the beneficial fermentation power.

This time, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Boochcraft on a beer, and we brewed an IPA that tastes like sweet lemon in black tea, much like an Arnold Palmer (a soft drink made by mixing lemonade with iced tea).

It should have a mild bitterness and a clean, citrusy acidity.

The secondary ingredients include grapefruit peel and puree, dried hibiscus, black tea, and ginger.
