Since its first release in November 1998 to commemorate the first anniversary of Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale has been hugely popular with craft beer fans around the world.

Not only is it delicious to drink immediately after release, but it is also highly popular as a collector's item and can be aged by storing it at a temperature similar to that of a wine cellar (13°C).

The overwhelming malt aroma is reminiscent of ripe berry fruits, caramel and spices, which intertwine with the intense bitterness of the hops in the base to create an even bigger flavor.
