The beer Stone brewed 25 years ago to commemorate their first anniversary was considered "insane" at the time.

Many craft beer fans criticized its taste, saying, "It's too hoppy. It's too bitter to drink."

That beer is now Stone IPA, one of the leading brands representing the American West Coast.

To celebrate their 26th anniversary this year, reflecting on their trials and challenges, they brewed an Imperial IPA that supercharges the Stone IPA.

An enormous amount of Centennial hops creates aromas reminiscent of dankness, pine, grapefruit, orange, black pepper, lemon, floral notes, melon, and mango.

On the palate, it offers flavors of grapefruit, orange honey, peach, melon, toffee, and herbal notes.

A ferocious, intense bitterness, almost like a punch, is solidly supported by a malty body.

After swallowing, a slight alcoholic sensation lingers through the nose.
