Gourmet Cider developed in collaboration with a N.Y. restaurant, with aromas reminiscent of rosé wine and a sweetness like berries and peaches
A rosé wine-like cider created by Shacksbury in collaboration with "Sundays in Brooklyn," a restaurant in Brooklyn, New York.
This Rosé was created as a "brunch cider" that completely changes the concept of cider, which has existed as a "sweet, gluten-free beer alternative."
It uses apples from the Sunrise Orchard in Cornwall, Vermont.
After pressing and fermenting, it is aged with the skins of Syrah and Zinfandel grapes, grape varieties used in California wines.
The beautiful deep pink color of the Rosé is a natural color derived from these grape skins.
Dry apple, grape, and Pinot Noir-like aromas intertwine.
The taste features sweet fruit flavors like strawberry and peach, and a subtle acidity reminds you that you are drinking cider, not wine.
It has a very dry finish, and is a drinkable glass with a good balance of acidity and sweetness.
It pairs well with Eggs Benedict and hash browns.
