Los Angeles Ale Works Krushing It WC IPA (473ml)

The 2nd Japan-exclusive collaboration beer by LA Ale Works! A carefully crafted IPA made to support the blue baseball team for the 2025 postseason!

This is the second Japan-exclusive collaboration beer by Los Angeles-based LA Ale Works and Nagano Trading.

It was born out of a partnership to deliver the best and freshest craft beer to Japanese baseball fans and beer lovers.

While you enjoy this tropical West Coast IPA, please also savor the story behind the can's design.

Label Design: This beer, brewed in Los Angeles, pays homage to the Los Angeles blue baseball team's ability to "Crush" the ball and hit numerous home runs. It also incorporates the name of the "Krush" hops used in the recipe.

The can's surface features a spray chart of all 54 home runs hit by the player with jersey number 17 during their historic "50-50" season.

Also, pay attention to the "seeds."

As a celebration brought to the Dodgers by T. Hernandez of the same team, all 260 home runs hit by the team in 2024 were celebrated with a "sunflower seed shower."

We incorporated that scene into the can as well.

Hop Lineup: Just as a team changes its batting order throughout the season, we also adjust our hop combination to maximize the unique aroma and flavor of this West Coast IPA.

Leading off is Krush, followed by Riwaka, Motueka, and Nectaron.

And "DH" refers to our beloved "designated hitter" and "dry hopping" which is performed during the brewing process.

Ink Dot Test and Grain Lineup: There's an unexpected commonality between beer and baseball bats.

Just as we carefully select the highest quality malt for our beer, professional players' bats are made from carefully selected wood grain.

The "ink dot test" is a standard that proves a bat is suitable for professional use.

If you're interested, the next time jersey number 17 steps up to the plate, look for the small dot on the barrel just above the handle.

And of course, have your beer and sunflower seeds ready.
