Trillium Eliot Tower DIPA (473ml) / Elliot Tower DIPA

Built in 1933 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, a group established to promote public works, Elliott Tower is a 35-foot-tall stone observation deck offering spectacular views of the Blue Hills Nature Preserve and the Boston skyline.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and is now one of the attractions in the Trillium Canton neighborhood. This beer, named after the Elliott Tower, can be considered the big brother of Trailside IPA.

This hazy, pale orange glass is dominated by the aroma of tropical fruit, with the viscous sweetness of mango, pineapple sorbet, and lychee at the forefront. Citrus and stone fruit notes also play a supporting role, revealing aromas of ripe peach, apricot candy, and grapefruit peel. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, with a soft, lingering texture. The finish is dry, with a subtle yet pleasant bitterness that brings the whole thing together.
