In early 2025, we at Topa Topa met the team from Monkish Brewing while serving as judges at the Japan Brewers Cup in Yokohama, Japan.

Over the course of a few days, we not only shared beers, but knowledge, brewery advice, and stories, and discovered that despite our different positions in the craft beer world, we have more in common than we realized.

This spirit of learning and connection is what makes collaboration so exciting.

It gives us the opportunity to bring our respective strengths together, push the boundaries, make new discoveries, and create beers that wouldn't have been possible with either of us on our own.

The result is a film that makes you feel like the journey itself is just as valuable as the destination.
