In early 2025, while serving as judges at the Japan Brewers Cup in Yokohama, Japan, we at Topa Topa met the team from Monkish Brewing.

Over several days during the event, we not only shared beers but also knowledge, exchanged advice about breweries, and told stories. We realized that despite being in different positions in the craft beer world, we had more in common than we thought.

This spirit of learning and connection is what makes collaboration so exciting.

It gives us the opportunity to bring our strengths together, push boundaries, make new discoveries, and create a beer that would not have been born from either one of us alone.

The result of this effort is a beer where the journey itself feels as valuable as the destination.
