Upslope's winter-only India Pale Ale is made with spruce (an evergreen coniferous tree in the pine family).

Made using premium American malt, Cascade and Simcoe hops, and a mix of hand-picked Colorado spruce needles, this beer truly embodies the Colorado wilderness.

The first aroma that hits you when you pour it into a glass is the pine-like aroma from hops and the natural aroma of spruce needles, followed by a refreshing aroma of orange peel and a strong malt aroma reminiscent of crackers and toast.

The taste is similar to the aroma, with pine, citrus, and toasty malt notes from the hops.
