An Imperial Red Ale infused with Pinot Noir grapes, orange peel, and oak.

This beer was conceived to celebrate September 9, 1850, the day California was admitted as the 31st state of the United States.

With grapes from the northern part of the state and oranges from the south, along with a complex combination of malts and fruity hops, it has a very deep flavor.

The base flavors are caramelized sugar, dark chocolate, and roasted notes.

On top of that are dazzling citrus and grape flavors, with a pleasant bitterness and oaky notes.

The finish is crisp and dry.
