Wild Ale Accented with Elderflower

This is a wild yeast ale with an apricot-like aroma, accented by a small amount of elderflower.

Elderflower is the flower of the elderberry tree, which has a sweet, muscat-like fragrance and is a herb used in teas and cooking.

The beer's name, Hildemore, refers to a fairy who lives in an elderberry tree and appears in the works of Danish fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen. In English, she is known as the Elder Mother.

It is said that misfortune will befall anyone who cuts down an elderberry tree without Hildemore's permission.

Regarding this beer, rest assured that Smog City asked Hildemore for permission before brewing.
