Smog City releases a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout every January, and this year's Infinite Wishes is full of aromas of vanilla, bourbon, cocoa, cinnamon, and toasted sugar.

It is made by aging Imperial Stout for one year in freshly emptied bourbon barrels.

This beer is a perfect blend of subtle aroma, depth of cocoa and dark chocolate, and the aroma and flavor of bourbon. It tastes like chocolate bourbon pie, but with a well-balanced flavor and a subtle syrupy taste.

The aroma wafting from the glass is a blend of subtle sweetness such as vanilla and chocolate, fragrant notes such as burnt oak and roasted grains, and fruity aromas such as dark fruits, plums, and figs.

The taste, like the aroma, is a mix of aromatic flavors with a hint of fruitiness, creating an exquisite balance of the deep bitterness of roasted coffee and the deep sweetness of dark chocolate.

The body is full and firm, and the mouthfeel is very creamy and smooth.
