Smog City Coffee Porter (355ml)

A porter reminiscent of chocolate-covered espresso beans, made with freshly roasted beans from a famous Los Angeles roastery.

This beer is more aptly described as a "coffee beer" rather than a "beer with coffee."

This Coffee Porter uses freshly roasted and ground coffee from Groundwork® (note).

It overflows with chocolate and roasted malt flavors from that fresh coffee, and of course, a wonderful coffee taste.

The aroma from the glass is strongly reminiscent of coffee and chocolate, with hints of vanilla and nutty aromas.

The flavor, like the aroma, is intensely coffee-like, as if you're drinking fine coffee.

The subtle sweetness of chocolate, the slight bitterness from the hops, and the main coffee flavor are all in excellent balance.

The body is a firm medium to full-bodied, with a very soft and velvety smooth mouthfeel.

The finish has a lingering espresso and vanilla flavor, reminiscent of chocolate-covered espresso beans.
