Revision Disco Ninja (473ml)

A Hazy IPA with a soft mouthfeel, featuring a balanced blend of citrus notes like grapefruit and orange peel, tropical aromas of mango and peach, and a refreshing greenness.

This is a collaboration beer between Revision Brewing and Shoe Tree Brewing Company (note).

The two breweries brainstormed to create a Northeast-Style IPA that explodes with flavor, as if a ninja is karate-chopping deliciousness in your mouth.

With each strike of the ever-changing nunchaku, the characteristics of Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops emerge one after another.

The aroma is very juicy and citrus-fruity.

Citrus notes like grapefruit and orange peel, tropical aromas of mango and stone fruit, and a resinous dankness are complemented by subtle sweet caramel and biscuit malt aromas.

The flavor is dominated by malt, with cracker and caramel notes, followed by juicy citrus fruits, tropical mango, and pine and resinous hop flavors.

It is medium-bodied with a very soft, velvety mouthfeel.

The finish is crisp and dry.

Note: A brewery in Carson City, Nevada, founded by brothers Jeff and Paul Young.

Starting with homebrewing, they worked as brewers at High Sierra Brewing Co. and won a gold medal at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival.
