The flavors of the three types of hops are well balanced, with notes of pineapple, soursop, starfruit, citrus, and blueberry. It has a crisp taste and is easy to drink despite its alcohol content.

At Fieldwork, we try not to use more than two types of hops when making our Double IPAs.

This is to prevent the aromas and flavors from interacting with each other in a negative way and sometimes canceling each other out.

However, this Banter Lord is an exception, using Mosaic, Galaxy, and Enigma.

By bringing out the flavor of each hop in a balanced way, the beer tastes like pineapple, soursop (a white-fleshed fruit found in subtropical regions), starfruit, citrus, ripe blueberries, grapes, peach, and tropical fruit salad.

It has a crisp aftertaste, so it's well-balanced and easy to drink despite its high alcohol content.
