Hop bitterness and citrus aroma with bready malt flavor. Exquisite balance and satisfying body

The brewery's classic IPA.

It's an authentic "Midwest-Style IPA" with an excellent balance of bitterness, hop aroma, and malt body.

The Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP for short, a non-profit organization that promotes knowledge of beer, mead, and cider and teaches tasting evaluation methods, and also holds BJCP certification exams) has recognized it as an exemplary American-style IPA and uses it as a standard for judging.

The Centennial IPA was born in 2001 at a friend's birthday party attended by brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki.

Jeremy brought a draft of his brand, Founders IPA, to the party.

However, when he offered this IPA to his friend, it was refused, and his friend chose an IPA from another brewery instead.

Having had a very disappointing experience as a brewer, he created Centennial IPA with the intention of "making an IPA that my friends would enjoy and be proud of."

When poured into a glass, it has a bright amber color with a thick, fluffy white head.

The aroma is grapefruit, orange, pine, floral, and a faint bready malt.

The taste is a classic grapefruit peel flavor with pine bitterness stimulating the palate.

The subtle sweetness of the malt balances exquisitely with the fruity aroma and hop bitterness.

It has a pleasant medium body and such a perfect balance that you might feel you could drink it forever.
