Firestone Walker Propagator Series: Nectaron Single Hop IPA (355ml)

Made exclusively with New Zealand Nectaron hops, which are known for their passion fruit, grapefruit and dank flavors.

A single-hop hazy IPA with the unique passion fruit and grapefruit flavors and dank feel of Nectaron hops.

The Propagator series uses only one type of hop and aims to maximize the flavor and aroma of that hop.

This time we focused on Nectaron hops from New Zealand.

Nectaron is a relatively new hop variety that was codenamed "Hort 4337" until it only recently became commercially available.

Nectaron was created by hop breeder Ron Beatson.

The hops used this time were sourced from the McGlacien family's hop farm.

Nectaron has a distinctive tropical fruit flavor typical of Southern Hemisphere varieties, as well as a dank flavor similar to hops harvested in the Northwestern United States.

This is the same variety used in Luponic Distortion #18, sold by Firestone Walker at the same time.
