Firestone Walker Anniversary Ale XXVI (355ml) / 26th Anniversary Ale

Every year, with the help of a local wine blender, we blend multiple types of barrel-aged beer in a delicate ratio to create this annual beer. It has a complex flavor with the nuances of bourbon barrels and the flavors of chocolate, vanilla, coffee, etc.

This beer is brewed every fall in collaboration with a local winemaker to celebrate Firestone Walker's anniversary.

Founded in 1996, Firestone Walker will celebrate its 26th anniversary in 2022, and so the XXVI Anniversary Ale is named after the company.

The journey to creating Anniversary Ale begins with our winemaker blenders working in groups to combine countless ingredients to create their own original blends.

All of the blends produced are then selected through blind testing, and the one chosen will become the base for that year's Anniversary Ale.

That's why their cooperation has been essential since we started Anniversary Ale in 2006.

This 26th anniversary blend is centered around two types of bourbon barrel-aged stouts, but also incorporates a complex blend of flavors and characteristics from the other barrels.

Along with the bourbon barrel notes, you'll also notice flavors of milk chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and butterscotch.

The breakdown of this year's blend is as follows (the percentage used is in parentheses):
