A meticulously crafted lager using German ingredients and traditional methods. Full-bodied yet drinkable, with a light bitterness, a hint of malty sweetness, and a clean, crisp finish.

This is a confident work from The Bruery, carefully crafted with traditional methods and ingredients.

Helles beer was born in Munich, Germany in 1894, and its name literally means "pale," referring to its color.

For this beer, we used the Kräusening method and the finest ingredients imported from Germany (Magnum, Saaz hops, Pilsner malt) to create an outstanding Helles Lager.

It's full-bodied yet easy to drink, with a light bitterness, a subtle malty sweetness, and a very clean, crisp finish.

This beer undergoes Kräusening in a Ruhkeller, which means "storage cellar" in German.

The Kräusening method is one of Germany's traditional techniques, promoting natural carbonation without the use of sugar or adjuncts.

By adding a small percentage of wort from another beer that has reached the peak of its primary fermentation, additional sugars are provided to the yeast.

During this process, the beer is rapidly cooled and "lagered" (meaning "to store" in German).

While such traditional methods are very labor-intensive and time-consuming, the result is an outstanding finish that is well worth the effort.
