Karl Strauss's new staple is a single-hop session IPA featuring Mosaic (a hop available since 2012, parented by Simcoe.

It is characterized by powerful citrus and vibrant tropical notes).

It originated from a recipe devised by brewer Sean Albrecht (who also supervises the main brewery in downtown San Diego) and brewed as part of the small-batch test program "Tank Tap."

Double dry-hopped, it offers a bursting grapefruit aroma and citrus and tropical fruit flavors, despite its low alcohol content.

A generous amount of wheat creates a light mouthfeel and a crisp finish.

It's very drinkable, making it deliciously enjoyable for multiple servings.

Awarded a bronze medal at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival.
