Tastes of ripe mango, pine, and sap. Medium body and moderate bitterness for the amount of hops used.

When the El Segundo brewery team discovered Idaho 7, a relatively new hop variety, last year, they immediately fell in love.

We use a technique called hop bursting to maximize the attractive hop aroma, flavor, and smooth bitterness.

"Hop burst" is a technique in which all hops are added just before the end of the boiling process, bringing out only the fruity, rich aroma before the bitterness and impurities of the hops are extracted.

The aroma of ripe mango from the hops is accompanied by a fragrant malt aroma reminiscent of bread and toast rising from the surface.

When you put it in your mouth, flavors of pine and sap jump out at you, along with a taste of candied citrus fruits that fills your mouth.

Afterwards, you can taste ripe mango, pale fruitiness, and a slight sweetness of malt.

The amount of carbonation is kept high to soften the bitterness that comes from the large amount of hops used and create a light flavor.

Although it is dry, it leaves a mild and pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste.
