A barrel-aged beer of true dedication, aged and blended in three types of barrels, boasting a rich malt flavor and complex, layered notes.

Released every November, this Barrel-aged Imperial Stout is Deschutes' signature barrel-aged beer, winning numerous awards and medals each year.

Brewed with licorice, cherry bark, and molasses, it enhances the rich malt flavor.

It also helps create the complex, layered flavors that become more apparent as the beer warms in the glass.

The yeast used in brewing is Trappist yeast, capable of fermenting to a high alcohol content of 11.7%.

Furthermore, new oak barrels, bourbon barrels, and red wine barrels are used for aging, and the resulting blend is exquisitely combined to achieve this magical taste.
