Trillium DDH Trailside (473ml) / Double Dry Hopped Trailside

About 30 minutes by car from Boston, Massachusetts, in the town of Canton, there are beautiful mountains called Great Blue Hill. In 2015, Trillium opened a new location right off the hiking trails (Trailside) there.

In addition to the brewery, large restaurant, and taproom, they plan to build a distillery there in the future.

Trillium Canton has brewed many New England IPAs, and this DDH Trailside is a double dry-hopped version of their masterpiece, Trailside.

Compared to the regular Trailside, it is dry-hopped with twice the amount of Citra and Strata hops.

Its color is a deeply hazy orange juice, offering the rich citrus and tropical fruit flavors that Trillium excels at.

Brewed to explore new possibilities with Strata and Citra hops, Trailside delivers flavors of freshly peeled mandarin orange, tangelo orange, and Meyer lemon, with added notes of ripe pineapple, mango, and peach.

The finish reveals a gentle, lingering bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit.

This is an IPA to be enjoyed while gazing at Great Blue Hill from Trillium Canton.
