Trillium Double Dry Hopped Mettle (473ml)

Intensely dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra hops. Tropical flavors reminiscent of pineapple, mango, peach, and citrus peel, and a cloud-like soft mouthfeel. Modest bitterness.

When Trillium was first launched, various problems and difficulties arose on a daily basis, and all of the founding members faced these challenges on a daily basis.

Mettle was brewed by the original members as a testament to their determination to face challenges head-on and continue to rise above them in the face of adversity.

Mettle is a Double IPA that is heavily dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra hops, and its literal translation is "guts, courage."

In order to never forget the thoughts and feelings we had when we first launched, we brew this Double IPA periodically and reminisce about those days.

Since then, they have brewed Black Mettle and Death Mettle, which are variations on the Mettle recipe, for limited periods of time, but never before have they used the double dry hopping that Trillium is known for.

This time, we have finally brewed a double dry hopped version of Mettle! Packed with a massive amount of hops, Double Dry Hopped Mettle is a beautiful, deep straw color.

Aromas of pineapple, ripe mango, peach and citrus peel rise from the glass.

It has a fluffy and soft texture in the mouth and leaves a subtle bitterness on the finish.
