Both Smog City and Pure Project participate in "1% for the Planet," an initiative that donates a portion of beer sales to environmental organizations. This beer was also brewed to support the National Forest Foundation, an NPO dedicated to forest conservation across the United States.

Classic hops like Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Citra are augmented with coniferous tree shoots, offering a refreshing piney and sap-like sensation, as if taking a deep breath in a forest after rain.
