Smog City 40oz to Torrance: Joyce Manor collab (473ml)

A lager to celebrate the release of local band Joyce Manor's new album "40oz to Fresno". Herbal and minty aromas with delicate floral notes. Refreshing, pleasant and drinkable.

A collaboration beer to celebrate the release of local punk band Joyce Manor's new album, "40oz to Fresno."

Classic 2-row malt is blended with Weyermann Pilsner malt, which has a characteristic cracker-like flavor, to bring out a subtle sweetness.

The hops used are Mandarina Bavaria and Wai-iti (a New Zealand hop released along with Kohatu in 2011), giving the beer a gentle aroma reminiscent of herbs, mint and basil with a delicate floral feel.

The result is a refreshing, pleasant and drinkable Helles-style lager.
