Smog City Coffee Porter (473ml)

A porter reminiscent of chocolate-covered espresso beans, made with freshly roasted beans from a famous Los Angeles roastery.

This beer is more accurately described as a "coffee beer" rather than a "beer with coffee."

This Coffee Porter uses freshly roasted and ground coffee from Groundwork® (note).

It overflows with the flavors of chocolate, roasted malt, and, of course, excellent coffee from that fresh coffee.

A strong aroma of coffee and chocolate emanates from the glass, with hints of vanilla and nutty aromas.

The taste is as strongly coffee-flavored as the aroma, as if you are drinking high-quality coffee.

The subtle sweetness reminiscent of chocolate, the slight bitterness derived from hops, and the main coffee flavor are all in excellent balance.

It has a firm medium to full body, and a very soft, velvety smooth mouthfeel.

The aftertaste of espresso and vanilla lingers, reminiscent of chocolate-covered espresso beans.
