Its color is a dark purple-red, and its aroma is a distinct boysenberry with a faint wildness.

The flavor is reminiscent of fully ripe boysenberries, as if they had been made into jam.

It has a balanced acidity and wildness, along with the flavor of aged hops, and the finish is reminiscent of wine poured from an oak barrel.
