A popular product that was brought back for a limited time by fan vote! Contains five types of hops and green tea leaves. A unique flavor reminiscent of green tea and herbs, with a fruity taste reminiscent of peach and apricot from the hops.

Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, this unique "Sencha IPA" was brewed as a charity collaboration beer to support Japan's recovery efforts by three people: Mitch Steele, who was then Stone's brewmaster; Bryan Baird of Baird Brewing in Shizuoka Prefecture; and Toshi Ishii of Ishii Brewing in Guam (who gained a wide range of experience as a brewer at Stone for three years from 1998, and after returning to Japan, he became COO of Yo-Ho Brewing and perfected the current recipe for "Yona Yona Ale." After going independent, he founded Ishii Brewing in Guam). The beer was made with Shizuoka-grown sencha tea and five types of hops.

It was revived for a limited time in 2015, and will be making a limited comeback this year as a result of a fan vote! The recipe for this beer is made with five types of hops from the northern and southern hemispheres, as well as green tea leaves, giving it a unique herbal flavor.

The mango and pineapple aromas derived from hops are combined with the dill herb scent that is unique to Sorachi Ace hops.

The herbal notes, green tea, and fruity hop flavors all blend together beautifully.

When you put it in your mouth, the first aroma of green tea hits your nose, followed by hop flavors such as peach, apricot, and mango.
