The new version of the perennially popular Stone w00tstout has arrived again this year!

This collaboration is filled with the friendship and love of beer shared by Stone founder Greg Koch, FARK.com founder Drew Curtis, and actor Wil Wheaton.

Brewed with pecans, wheat, and rye as adjuncts, a portion of the beer is aged in bourbon barrels and then blended with the original.

The result is a rich and complex Imperial Stout.

A major feature of this product is that a different professional in a different field is commissioned to design the label each year.

For this 10th anniversary, Jim Lee, who has worked on DC Comics' Aquaman and Marvel Comics' Exiles and Deadpool, was in charge.

The artwork features a gargoyle hero expelling impending evil, making a powerful impact.

When poured into a glass, intense aromas of cocoa, coffee, and coconut rise, with notes of licorice and esters, followed by vanilla and oak impressions.

On the palate, cocoa and coffee flavors are dominant, along with oak, vanilla, nuts, and bourbon notes from the barrel, finishing with a faint hint of alcohol and hop bitterness.

It has a rich, smooth, and creamy mouthfeel with a dry finish.
