Green Flash West Coast IPA (355ml)

In January 2019, the original recipe for West Coast IPA was revived.

Green Flash, one of the breweries that has been brewing beer for many years in San Diego, the mecca of craft beer, reaffirmed and deepened its connection with San Diego by revamping its package design.

The design was created by Matthew Jay Fleming, an illustrator who vividly depicts and expresses the San Diego lifestyle.

Not only did the West Coast IPA's package design change, but its recipe also reverted from the previous Double IPA to the original West Coast style IPA.

According to Ben Widseth, VP of Marketing at Green Flash, Green Flash fans had been reminiscing about and missing the original West Coast IPA recipe for many years, so they decided to bring back the original recipe along with the design refresh.

The Green Flash staff is very excited about the long-awaited return of the original recipe and the debut of the new package design.

Sweet tropical passion fruit, refreshing and stimulating grapefruit, and pine-like aromas mingle and waft from the glass.

The flavor is dominated by refreshing, fruity grapefruit with a subtle bitterness from the peel, followed by a dark caramel-like flavor from the British Crystal malt.

The finish leaves a lingering floral flavor and a hop character reminiscent of a dry forest.

A West Coast IPA that evokes San Diego, making you want to toast to magical moments, like the green flash seen as the sun sets into the ocean.
