Maui Pueo Pale Ale (355ml)

Pueo (a sacred owl that is home to the spirits of ancestors) is a Hawaiian-style Pale Ale with Simco and Citra hops.

Previously, beer was brewed year-round on draft only, but now it is being released in cans as a seasonal item.

This "Pueo Pale Ale" is a Hawaiian pale ale with a taste reminiscent of a West Coast style IPA.

The malt used is 2-row, a small amount of Munich malt, and crystal malt.

The flavors of Citra, Simcoe, and Chinook hops are strongly present, and when you put it in your mouth, the sweetness of the malt comes through, followed gradually by the bitterness and fruitiness from the hops.

The name "Pueo" refers to an owl that lives only in the Hawaiian Islands.

It is considered a sacred bird, and locals believe that the spirits of ancestors reside in it.
