Maui Pueo Pale Ale (355ml)

Pueo (sacred owl, home to ancestral spirits), a Hawaiian Style Pale Ale bursting with Simcoe and Citra hops.

　Previously a year-round draft-only beer, this limited-edition canned version is now being released as a seasonal product.

“Pueo Pale Ale” is a Hawaiian-made pale ale whose taste somehow reminds one of a West Coast-style IPA.

　The malt bill consists of 2-row, a small amount of Munich malt, and crystal malt.

The flavors of Citra, Simcoe, and Chinook hops are prominent, and upon tasting, a malty sweetness is followed by a gradual bitterness and fruitiness from the hops.

　The name “Pueo” refers to an owl species found only in the Hawaiian Islands.

It is considered a sacred bird, and locals believe it houses the spirits of ancestors.
