A rum-like aroma with hints of sweetness and bitterness, a robust body, and a rich, deep, and complex chocolate-like flavor. A popular, award-winning product.

This Imperial Stout-style beer was originally brewed in 18th century England to be presented to Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia. It features a fine head of foam, a robust body, a slightly rum-like aroma with hints of sweetness and bitterness, and a rich, deep, and complex dark chocolate-like flavor. This Russian Imperial Stout has won numerous awards and is praised as the pinnacle of American beer. The label is iconic, featuring Rasputin, the "mad monk" said to have contributed to the downfall of the Russian Empire, as if luring you into his enchantment. Around the label, the Russian phrase "A true friend is not born in a day" is written. *This product is nitrogen-filled, but can also be dispensed using standard carbon dioxide (CO₂).
