　Topa Topa Brewing is a brewery based in Ventura, California. Ventura is a small, casual, and laid-back town northwest of Los Angeles, located at the foot of the Topatopa Mountains, after which the brewery is named.

Founders Jack Dyer and Kyle Thompson were originally friends who shared a passion for surfing and homebrewing. The two gradually developed a dream of opening a brewery. They seriously developed a business plan and brought in Casey Harris, a mutual friend and brewer at Stone Brewing.

Initially, they planned to operate in San Diego, but after Jack relocated to Santa Barbara, they decided to start the brewery in Ventura, near Santa Barbara, instead of the highly competitive San Diego.
