Canned beer This week Antenna America is focusing on canned beer. More and more craft breweries these days are extolling the merits of canned beer. Most importantly, cans protect the beer from ultraviolet rays which lead to off flavors but as added benefits, it’s also lightweight and compact which makes carrying it around simple. Canned beer doesn't break when dropped and the recyclable aluminum is eco-friendly. While canned beer cools more quickly than bottled beer, the one downside is that it also warms more quickly. However, this can easily be countered by using a Koozie's (insuted can jackets) which are readily available in the shop to keep your canned beer cooler for longer. Currently, the only 2 breweries that offer their beers in cans are Maui and Devil’s Canyon, both of which have some pretty amazing beers in our opinion. In addition to protecting their beer from the elements, Maui additionally promotes using cans to help prevent broken glass from becoming a beach hazard. We’ll have the beers ready for all your summer outings so stop by on your way to the beach and have an endless summer.
